The laboratory is on an island, locating upon a small valley. A flexual road connecting the mountain and the beach.
The theme of the lab is 'materials depend on colaboration to create a space, which is the best way to solve a problem.'So, I used a light, a medium and a dark texture to compose a colour transition, which is the 'material colaborations'. The different textures on the rectangular prisms actually divide the whole lab into different function space. The middle part is the working section that Newton's is on the first floor and Freud's is on the top floor. The left and right sections are their resting zones.
I wanna make the landform very primitive and the lab is on the top of the mountain which means that human's knowledge is great in the nature.
Newton can enter his room by two accesses- the main entrance and a small side door after stairway because Newton is a physical scientist. He may need a big place to do physical experiment. So, after passing the small side door, he will get to the experiment space.
The top room is Freud's working space. He can do his psycological research in his room or on the platform surrounded by the nature.
